Parker Yancey McCollum (born June 15, 1992) is an American singer-songwriter who has rapidly risen from the competitive Texas country music scene to become a certified national superstar. Born in Conroe, Texas, his music blends Americana, Texas country, and neotraditional country, with influences ranging from Willie Nelson and Townes Van Zandt to George Strait, whom he considers his musical hero. McCollum began his career independently, releasing his debut album, The Limestone Kid, in 2015. His dedicated road-warrior ethic and honest, relatable songwriting earned him a fervent fan base before he signed a major label deal with Universal Music Group's MCA Nashville in 2019. Since then, he has cemented his status with a string of chart-topping hits, including the Platinum-selling singles "Pretty Heart" and "Burn It Down," and his critically acclaimed albums Gold Chain Cowboy and Never Enough.
